How rapping about your career can land you a job

2 years ago, I had no job, loads of bills and was dreading the process of sending my CV to recruiters. So I decided to turn getting a new job into a creative project.

I created a rap of my CV, just a funny little video explaining my experience and a little bit about me. The response was amazing and it worked really well. I got over 200 DMs and even an invite to audition for Britain’s Got Talent. (Not the career move I was initially going for, but nice to have the option.)

I had a couple of requests at the time to give talks to students about self promotion and the feedback I sometimes got was that the students could never do something like that. I think ANYONE can do something like this, so I've broken it down into simple steps.

And I understand that putting yourself out there is 'cringe'. But I cannot stress enough that getting past 'cringe' is the quickest way to getting what you want in life.
